Poop Wizard Service & Website Terms
Effective Date: August 27, 2026
These Service & Website Terms (“Terms”) govern your use of the Poop Wizard website and any services provided by Poop Wizard. By requesting a quote, scheduling service, purchasing service, using our website, or otherwise doing business with Poop Wizard, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
Poop Wizard provides residential pet waste removal and related services in designated service areas in San Francisco.
Available services may include recurring pet waste removal, one-time cleanups, multi-dog service, YardFresh™ deodorizing, Garbage Bin Valet, and other optional services described on our website or in your individual quote.
Service availability may vary based on location, property conditions, route availability, scheduling capacity, and other operational considerations.
Poop Wizard may modify, add, discontinue, or limit services at any time.
2. Quotes, Pricing, and Payment
Prices may vary based on factors including:
Service frequency
Yard or service-area size
Number of dogs
Property conditions
Amount of accumulated pet waste
Access requirements
Add-on services
Route availability
Special service requests
Any price shown on our website is intended as general pricing information unless otherwise stated.
Your final price may be based on the information you provide during signup, your individual quote, or the actual condition of the property.
If conditions at the property materially differ from the information provided by the customer, Poop Wizard may contact the customer before proceeding with service or may adjust the price where appropriate.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment or service-management platforms. Customers authorize applicable charges according to the service plan or transaction they select.
Customers are responsible for keeping payment information current.
If payment cannot be processed, Poop Wizard may pause or discontinue service until the account is brought current.
3. Recurring Service
3.1 Service Frequency
Recurring service may be offered on schedules such as weekly, twice-weekly, or every-other-week service.
Actual service days may vary based on route scheduling, holidays, weather, staffing, traffic, operational conditions, or other circumstances.
Poop Wizard may adjust route days or arrival times when reasonably necessary.
3.2 Ongoing Service
Recurring service continues until paused or canceled by the customer or terminated by Poop Wizard.
By enrolling in recurring service, you authorize Poop Wizard and its service providers to process recurring charges according to your selected plan and billing arrangement.
3.3 Changes to Service
Customers may request changes to service frequency, add-ons, property information, or account details.
Requested changes are subject to availability and may result in pricing changes.
3.4 Cancellation and Pausing Service
Customers may pause or cancel recurring service at any time, subject to any applicable notice requirements disclosed during signup or required by law.
If an online cancellation method is required by applicable law, Poop Wizard will provide one.
Cancellation does not eliminate charges already incurred for completed services or other amounts properly due.
4. Property Access, Gates, and Pets
Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the service area on scheduled service days.
Gates, locks, access codes, and other entry methods must be accessible and functional.
Poop Wizard will make reasonable efforts to close and secure gates after service. Customers remain responsible for maintaining gates, fences, latches, locks, and other property-access equipment in safe working condition.
If Poop Wizard cannot safely access the service area, service may be skipped, delayed, or rescheduled.
Pets should be kept indoors or in a separate secured area during service unless another arrangement has been approved in advance.
Customers must disclose known hazards or conditions that could affect service, including aggressive animals, unsafe structures, hazardous materials, construction activity, broken gates, or other property risks.
Poop Wizard may decline or discontinue service where conditions are unsafe.
5. Initial Cleanups and Property Conditions
Properties with substantial accumulated pet waste, overgrown vegetation, debris, inaccessible areas, or unusually difficult conditions may require additional time or pricing.
One-time cleanups and initial cleanups may be priced differently from recurring maintenance service.
If the actual condition of the property is materially different from the information provided during signup or quoting, Poop Wizard may:
Contact the customer before proceeding
Provide an updated price
Limit service to accessible areas
Reschedule the service
Decline service where conditions are unsafe or unreasonable
Poop Wizard is not responsible for waste that is hidden, inaccessible, buried, covered by vegetation, located beneath objects, or otherwise not reasonably visible or accessible during normal service.
6. Weather, Holidays, and Schedule Changes
Poop Wizard may provide service during normal San Francisco weather conditions, including light rain, when it is safe and practical to do so.
Service may be delayed, rescheduled, modified, or canceled because of:
Unsafe weather
Heavy rain or storms
Extreme heat
Poor air quality
Road closures
Natural disasters
Holidays
Equipment issues
Illness
Staffing issues
Traffic or route disruptions
Other circumstances outside Poop Wizard’s reasonable control
When possible, Poop Wizard will communicate significant schedule changes.
7. Deodorizing & Add-On Services
Poop Wizard may offer optional add-on services such as YardFresh™ deodorizing, Garbage Bin Valet, and other services described on our website or in an individual quote.
Availability and pricing may vary by property, service plan, service area, and scheduling availability.
Deodorizing treatments are intended to help reduce pet-related odors. Results may vary depending on the source and severity of the odor, surface type, drainage, weather, yard conditions, and other factors.
Deodorizing does not guarantee the complete or permanent elimination of odors.
Customers should inform Poop Wizard of any known sensitivities, special property conditions, or concerns relevant to an add-on service before service is performed.
For Garbage Bin Valet service, customers are responsible for providing reasonable access to the applicable bins and ensuring that the bins are eligible for collection under applicable Recology requirements.
Collection schedules, missed collections, delayed collections, or actions by Recology or other waste-service providers are outside Poop Wizard’s control.
8. Waste Handling
Unless otherwise agreed, pet waste collected during service may be bagged and placed in the customer’s own designated garbage bin or other appropriate disposal location at the property.
If a customer requests removal of collected waste from the property, additional fees may apply.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their garbage or disposal containers are available and reasonably accessible where required.
Poop Wizard is not responsible for the actions, rules, collection schedules, or service decisions of Recology or other waste-management providers.
9. Satisfaction Guarantee
Poop Wizard stands behind the quality of its service.
If you believe an area was missed or a service was not performed properly, contact us promptly so we can review the situation.
Where appropriate, Poop Wizard may return to correct an affected area, provide a service credit, issue a refund, or take another reasonable step to address the concern.
The satisfaction guarantee does not apply to conditions outside Poop Wizard’s reasonable control, including:
Newly deposited pet waste after service
Hidden or inaccessible waste
Unsafe or blocked areas
Property conditions that prevent reasonable service
Weather-related conditions
Customer access issues
Actions by third parties
Conditions that were not disclosed before service
10. Customer Communications
By providing your phone number or email address, you authorize Poop Wizard and its service providers to send service-related communications by email, telephone, text message, or customer-management platform.
These communications may include:
Appointment confirmations
Service reminders
Arrival notices
Completion notices
Billing communications
Account updates
Responses to inquiries
Quote follow-ups
Scheduling changes
Message and data rates may apply to text messages depending on your wireless carrier and plan.
Marketing communications, where applicable, may be subject to separate consent requirements.
Customers may request to stop non-essential marketing communications at any time. Transactional or service-related communications may still be necessary while service remains active.
11. Third-Party Platforms and Services
Poop Wizard may use third-party platforms for website hosting, quotes, scheduling, customer accounts, payments, communications, analytics, and other business functions.
Use of those services may also be subject to the third party’s own terms and privacy policies.
Poop Wizard is not responsible for outages, security failures, processing delays, or other failures caused solely by independent third-party providers.
12. Website Use
You may use the Poop Wizard website for lawful personal or business purposes related to learning about, requesting, or managing Poop Wizard services.
You may not:
Attempt to disrupt or damage the website
Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems
Submit false or fraudulent information
Use the website for unlawful purposes
Copy, reproduce, or exploit protected Poop Wizard materials without permission
13. Intellectual Property
The Poop Wizard name, logos, P-Wiz character, artwork, slogans, graphics, website content, distinctive brand elements, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Poop Wizard unless otherwise stated.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, publish, or commercially use Poop Wizard intellectual property without prior written permission.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Poop Wizard will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the website or services.
Poop Wizard is not responsible for damage or loss caused by conditions outside its reasonable control, including unsafe or defective gates, fences, locks, property structures, undisclosed hazards, customer negligence, third-party actions, weather, or animal behavior.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
15. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Poop Wizard harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising from:
Your violation of these Terms
False or inaccurate information you provide
Unsafe conditions you fail to disclose
Your misuse of the website or services
Your violation of applicable law or the rights of another person
16. Termination of Service
Poop Wizard may suspend or terminate service where reasonably necessary, including for:
Nonpayment
Unsafe conditions
Aggressive animals
Repeated access problems
Harassment or abusive conduct
Fraud
Repeated violations of these Terms
Operational or route changes
Where practical, Poop Wizard will provide reasonable notice.
17. Privacy
Use of personal information is governed by the Poop Wizard Privacy Policy.
By using our website or services, you acknowledge that personal information may be processed as described in that policy.
18. Changes to These Terms
Poop Wizard may revise these Terms from time to time.
Material changes may be reflected by updating the Effective Date shown at the top of this page.
Continued use of the website or services after updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute relating to these Terms or Poop Wizard services will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
21. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable customer quote, service plan, or written agreement, constitute the agreement between you and Poop Wizard concerning the matters they cover.
If an individual written agreement or accepted quote contains terms that conflict with these general Terms, the more specific written agreement or accepted quote will control to the extent of the conflict.
